When a former chef at CombiniCo decided to pursue her own passion project - a local + sustainable fermented product business - I knew it was something I wanted to support. Angry Kulture is a result of Dominika's intense research into Korean fermenting techniques, locally sourced ingredients and the best sustainable practices for small businesses. I helped her re-imagine her brand, from drawing up colour palettes and typography to tweaking the name for better SEO + cultural heritage.
Using a bold and punchy set of colours and typeface, Angry Kulture's identity is centred around its owner's honesty. We managed to keep the packaging and labelling minimal, to allow the kimchi itself to steal the show. Since her original concept, Dominika has grown the product line to include gluten free and other root vegetable versions.
